Day 1: Kigali – Volcanoes National Park – Start the Ascent

• Pick-up from your Kigali hotel or Kigali International Airport 

• Scenic countryside drive to Volcanoes National Park

• Briefing with ranger guides

• Begin the hike through lush bamboo and Afro-montane forest

• Reach first campsite (around 3,700m)

• Dinner and overnight on the mountain

Day 2: Summit Karisimbi (4,507m) – Second Night on the Mountain

• Early morning push to the summit

• Conquer Rwanda’s highest peak with breathtaking views of the entire Virunga chain

• Enjoy photos and time at the peak before descending

• Return to camp for hot lunch

• Second overnight at the same Karisimbi campsite
